Tammy, the spoilt rich girl with a heart, discovered she’s pregnant with her dead boyfriend’s baby. Meanwhile, Colt ran off from his alcoholic dad and stared at a lake for ages while “Finders Keepers” by You Me at Six played…

So now you know exactly how this single sounds, yes? Sugar-overloaded drive-time production, chugging power chords and that tried-and-tested slow verse/fast chorus shtick. Meanwhile, the lyrics continue the inglorious frat-boy tradition of berating some girl for not dropping her panties on demand.  

All in all, rather undignified, ugly and shot through with a nasty strain of solipsism, but you know what? If I were 14-years-old, unkissed and had a major bonk-on for Wotzit from Gossip Girl, this would be Shakespeare to me.
