‘I Am A Social Network’ is Stop Eject’s second single and is a whirlwind of deep dark craziness that manages to fit in every cliché possible, yet still make it sound good. The distorted guitars (complete with a no messing simple solo), intense brooding vocals and a hectic arrangement create a sense of urgency and seem to leave you thinking; what the hell was that?

Although at times the music doesn’t particularly gel with the vocals- especially the awkward sounding chorus-it doesn’t really matter as the band have said themselves they are proud to be doing something a little different.  

It is clear that Stop Eject aren’t trying to gain a mainstream audience with this release- they are simply creating an interesting noise and saying ‘this is us, like it or lump it’. The song grabs your attention and shows that this is one band not afraid to push the boundaries and do something that is new and rather odd.

There is no sugar coating involved in this single, just an edgy and furious song that packs a punch; from beginning to end it is fast paced and captivating.
