After ten years of Brit Awards snubbery, The Sugababes have announced that they're considering boycotting the 2009 ceremony.

Typically vocal lead singer Keisha Buchanan has said that after years of leaving empty-handed, the thought of free booze and celebrity punch-ups just aren't enough to tempt the 'Babes into attending.

Buchanan said: "I say this in the most humble way, but when you think of pop bands, the Sugababes are definitely up there.... We're British for God's sake - and we've done well. Surely we deserve an award after all the hard work we've done?"

Over the years the band has been nominated for six awards, but have only ever walked away with one - in 2003 for 'Best Dance Act'.
