Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones suggested to NME.com yesterday that the band plan to reform without singer Robert Plant.
The bassist revealed that he and guitarist Jimmy Page have been auditioning singers for the role and prompted users of the site to leave their thoughts and comments about the decision.
Unfortunately they didn't receive the kind of reception they had been hoping for, with most readers slamming any suggestions of a reunion minus Plant.
One such response from 'Orangeboy' noted: "How ridiculous... Plant's voice is half of what made Zep who they were. It simply isn't Led Zeppelin without him."
'sgows' piped in too, saying: "Sacrilege, how can they do this?" and 'lukey45': "Does this story make anyone else feel sick?"
