In a move straight out the 'inevitable' folder, an artist has created a portrait of rap star Eminem made entirely from the confectionary which shares his name. 

Artist Enrique Ramos from Florida created the image by using over 1000 M&M's to create a portrait which was 40 by 30 inches and weighed around 8 pounds.

The portrait has even been snapped up by entertainment company Ripleys Believe it or Not who specialize in bizarre and strange items, They intend to hang it in one of their  museums.

Ripleys VP of Communicatoim Tim O'Brien said "Our customers have a pretty good eye for art. They won't be disappointed by Eminem in M&M's. This looks good enough to eat".

The portrait will join other Ripley displays which include Michael Jackson in gumballs and The Last Supper in burnt  toast.
