Indie rockers Primal scream walked off with Best Live Act and Outstanding Contribution to music at the Vodafone Live Awards.

The ceremony which took place at Brixton Academy on Thursday (18th) also saw awards go to Mark Ronson, The Ting Tings, while The Spice Girls beat The Verve and Led Zeppelin for best comeback.

Primal Scream closed the event with a three song set which included the classic 'Rocks'.
