When Prime Minister Gordon Brown revealed he had contacted both Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan as to the well being of Susan Boyle, many thought it was another ham-fisted attempt by the dour Scot to court public opinion.

Well it was revealed to Gobshout that Gordon’s concern was genuine for a girl he grew up with and whom he dated as an adolescent.

Gordon and the hairy angel grew up together in the remote Scottish fishing village of Inverpuddin and were actually teenage sweethearts for a few months during the long hot summer of 76.

Our source said:  ‘They were inseparable as kids always out playing in the sand pit or the swings, as they grew up their friendship blossomed into something deeper.

 

He also revealed whether or not the Scottish spinster was a virgin: ‘Well I suppose she is on a technicality.’  He said.

 

 

‘Gordon told me he only ever shagged her up the arse.’
