His new critically acclaimed album may be riding high in the charts and single ‘Behind Closed Doors’ now in its 10th week at number one, but Peter Andre says he has no intention of resting on his laurels. 



He will follow up his chart-topping single ‘Behind Closed Doors’, which documents his turbulent relationship with Jordan, with another single about a troubled period in his life. 



Speaking exclusively to Gobshout he said: ‘I want to try and strike while the iron is hot, so to speak.  I have plenty of other life experience to put to song.  That’s what my new single is about.’ 

‘I had a terrible dose of the runs the other week there.  It was awful!  My arse was like a scattergun.  I reckon I must have lost about a stone and a half in a day.’ 

‘But out of bad things comes something good, just as I used the pain and heartbreak of my marriage breakdown so too do I use the pain and torture of my diarrhoea to give me another hit single, fingers crossed.’ 

‘In many ways getting divorced from Jordan and diarrhoea are very similar.’  

‘They were both very messy, left me feeling weak, depressed and scared to move more than ten feet from the house.’ 

‘Behind closed doors, that’s where it happens’
