Oxide And Neutrino Perform At Obama’s Inauguration

'the new President threatened to withdraw his candidacy if his musical heroes didn’t play...'

Oxide and Neutrino brought the house down at Barack Obama’s Inauguration yesterday.

The South London 2-Steppers got the 2 million plus audience for Obama’s Inauguration bopping with a rendition of their Casualty theme tune sampling classic, Bound 4 Da Reload.

The duo had only reformed after Barack had made several personal calls to their agent begging them to get back together for his big day.  After initially playing hardball, saying a reunion was impossible ‘coz of all da memories’, they backed down and agreed after the President-elect threatened to withdraw his candidacy if his musical heroes didn’t  play. This threat, along with a big bottle of Rola Cola, was thankfully enough to get them on the plane to Washington just in time.

In an amusing episode, an overexcited Dubya grabbed Neutrino’s mic during the song and asked the heaving crowd to ‘put their guns in the air,’ after which edgy Secret Service Men rugby tackled him and packed him off to soon-to-be-defunct Guantanamo Bay. Afterwards, Obama was quoted as saying ' I told Georgie beforehand not to go over the top.  I used to put this song on during my visits to Camp David, and he’d usually end up dusting down the shotgun and taking out a few herons.  I always found that funny, but there’s time and a place for that sort of thing. You’d have thought he’d have known that by now.’

In other news from our U.S correspondent, there are vicious rumours circulating that Iglu and Hartley are NOT a massive pile of shite.  Frankly, Gobshout News believes this to be Grade A poppycock, and thinks they are bunch of right c*nts.
