Police arrested a 43 year old man today for allegedly sending Fearne Cotton abusive texts.

The man, Mr Joseph Wiley, was taken away by police for questioning following an alleged text messaging incident which happened yesterday during Fearne Cotton’s new morning show.

The messages allegedly said ‘u thieving bitch!’  and  ‘u fink u r gr8 cos u r so fit well u r shit I am much fitter than u!’

Mr Wiley was taken away for questioning, he also had the remaining £2.50 credit removed from his pay as you go mobile phone.

It is not known whether Mr Joseph Wiley is any relation to former radio 1 presenter Jo Wiley also 43, who Miss Cotton replaced at Radio 1.  

Below an unrepentant Mr Joseph Wiley is led away by police.
