Concrete and Glass
Art and music goes together like fish and chips. The notion behind Concrete and Glass is simple yet original; this event is attempting to raise the bar with their bag of pioneering talent in the creative pools of contemporary art and music.
This is their second show since 2008, which has only matured like a fine bottle of plonk. The relentless team at Concrete and Glass have grown some extra legs and cultivated more ideas to woo the audiences with daring and mind-boggling feats.
This year will host a plethora of acts; one being the wackiness of Volcano and the Bear accompanied by their bespoke paraphernalia dovetailing their way over a Fischli and Weiss art flick. Also on the bill is Owl Project with their interpretation of woven sound funnelled via an array of eccentric instruments including their wooden Ipod (mLog). This is only a sneak peak at the spontaneous line up of experimental krautrock, sound incarnations, installations and exhibitions teeming with cutting edge art.
Enough of my drool, check out the website for further details and get yourself amongst it.
