So, as we plod along to the end of the decade it’s natural we start to reflect on what the ‘noughties’ has given us music-wise.  For this particular cause we are going to put who we don’t like to the side, for once, and instead ask ourselves the really big questions.  Who have been the scene-starters, scene-stealers and hit-makers?  Who deserves to be given the hallowed title of ‘Artist Of The Decade’, and which collection of song should be hailed as our members ‘Album Of The Decade’?


Obviously, questions like these are going to bring up the usual suspects- the Radiohead’s, Arcade Fire’s, Bright Eyes’, Jay-Z’s and the like.  But is there someone else you think deserves to be hailed, someone that’s slipped under the radar but made some truly beautiful music.  Perhaps M Ward, M83, TV On The Radio or Frightened Rabbit have got you  hot under the musical collar?  Either way, we want to hear about you think deserves to be ending the decade with Gobshout praise ringing in their ears, so please send us your articles on your chosen artist/album, and tell us why!  Please do also list the rest of your Top 10 at the bottom of the article.  We will use these as your votes for our official list, which we will reveal in December when those pesky forums are back.  Any questions, just holla at the ‘Gob Shout’ profile on Facebook.
