Nice guitar opens accompanied by a violin (or some other stringed instrument), the sound is well produced, the voice that tells us 'your touch is all I need' isn't bad at all, there is quite a lot that is good with this demo. 

When it gets to the bridge it does seem to fade a bit, remember this is the bit that is supposed to build to the finale: could perhaps do with a but more production here I reckon - a bit more oomph.

I do like this despite myself; earnest singer-songwriters are not that high on my list of top 100 musicians.

For one there are loads of them about and they are usually both talented and good looking (perhaps one of the reasons I don't like them).  I normally find my self thinking 'get angry and write a song with balls.  Write a punk song.'

'Floating Leaves' is a nice song, you've got talent, let's see what else you can do.
