Although his small town in South Gloucestershire neighbours the birthplace of J.K. Rowling, Rich Kemp still prefers to declare he's from Bristol rather than Yate. He knows he's lying to himself, but at least he's telling you. After paying a visit to a friend's creative writing class in 2007, Rich slightly unexpectedly fell head over heels in love with writing. Since that fateful day, he has worked for a host of art, culture, entertainment and music magazines. He now runs a creative writing class of his own and speaks fluent Spanish. Rich begrudgingly divides his time between his hometown of Bristol and Columbus, Ohio, where his heart happily lies.
